Leandro Lorien took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loco Buffon. Loco Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Loco Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Lorien went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Venancio Sandaili made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Feliciano Haritzeder. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Loco Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Lorien in the 31st minute of play. When Jyrki Sillanpää came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jyrki Sillanpää couldn't finish the play. Leandro Lorien might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loco Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Lorien ran back to his position shaking his head. Loco Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Lorien in the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Leandro Lorien made the kick off in the second half. Leandro Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Lorien got free with Loco Buffon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 56th minute of play. Leandro Lorien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loco Buffon having to make a save. Leandro Lorien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Loco Buffon made a huge save. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion was substituted for Jyrki Sillanpää. Fecha Libre's Igli Tare was substituted for Leandro Lorien. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Fecha Libre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inocencio Patxi took the corner. The corner led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Amador Kelemen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loco Buffon skillfully saved the ball. Loco Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igli Tare in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Igli Tare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Buffon came out of the goal and Igli Tare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Igli Tare notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Loco Buffon. Loco Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Inocencio Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Inocencio Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Inocencio Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Loco Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fecha Libre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Kelemen in the 86th minute. Pat Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igli Tare in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loco Buffon saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Brion in the 92nd minute of play. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shah Butcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Fecha Libre were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Los Hijos de Doña Beija's much stronger midfield.
