It was Amador Kelemen who took care of the corner kick. Amador Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Fecha Libre's Leandro Lorien dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Leandro Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fecha Libre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Lorien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Lorien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xencio Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Fecha Libre were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Cardiff City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amador Kelemen took the corner. At last the ball reached Strahil Sapundzhiev at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Cardiff City FC. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City FC's Everardo Joey got a free kick in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Amador Kelemen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xencio Millan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Xencio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Amador Kelemen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Xencio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Lorien came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Jusepe hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Cardiff City FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Radovan. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leandro Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Lorien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Lorien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Lorien in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xencio Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Lorien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xencio Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The Fecha Libre fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Fecha Libre's Leandro Lorien looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 69 minutes, Igli Tare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fecha Libre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igli Tare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igli Tare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xencio Millan having to make a save. Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igli Tare in the 72nd minute of play. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Julian Efraim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Emiliano Martínez made a huge save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igli Tare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fecha Libre made a substitution. Ulises Hustaz replaced Eugenio Gilen. Fecha Libre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Kelemen in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Amador Kelemen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan did a great save. If Igli Tare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute Igli Tare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xencio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes Cardiff City FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Kelemen who took care of the corner kick. Amador Kelemen made a great header on Fecha Libre's corner, it was just that Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cardiff City FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fecha Libre.
