After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters rose to their feet, but Judas Verón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hacha y Tiza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blue Dolar was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de Pibasog's players had a chance to rest. Erubiel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hacha y Tiza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blue Dolar was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de Pibasog's players had a chance to rest. Blue Dolar made a great header on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner, it was just that Hacha y Tiza FC's Erubiel Osoro managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Hacha y Tiza FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Atilano Millan hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Judas Verón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Bihar in the 25th minute of play. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Osoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Erubiel Osoro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Erubiel Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Fabricio Xabel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hacha y Tiza FC and the Belgrano de Pibasog players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hacha y Tiza FC's Fabricio Xabel got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Judas Verón recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erubiel Osoro. Judas Verón showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Osoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Belgrano de Pibasog's Erubiel Osoro threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Judas Verón, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Blue Dolar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erubiel Osoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erubiel Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 43rd minute of the match. Erubiel Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
Belgrano de Pibasog's Melquiades Henrico was substituted for Blue Dolar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Judas Verón to make the kick off. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Belgrano de Pibasog got a corner. Hacha y Tiza FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustaquio Fortun ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Osoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erubiel Osoro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Erubiel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Hacha y Tiza FC defense, Judas Verón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Osoro. The Hacha y Tiza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Osoro should have stopped the shot. Hacha y Tiza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Iulian Ilinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Ambrosio Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano de Pibasog had won after a very even match.
