With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Gaxan saved Ireland 1921 from getting behind. If Pedro Ochoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Leonel Criston notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez. Generoso Gonzalez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 minutes, Cosme Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka and the Ireland 1921 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Mendebal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ireland 1921's Gogo Mon got a free kick in the 27th minute. Boguslaw Kaider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rauno Rank during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rauno Rank hit a great ball. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Ignacio Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Ticho took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Gonzalez. Generoso Gonzalez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 53 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Åberg. 56 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Åberg came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Criston in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Patricio Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg. 62 minutes into the match, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Criston came free, but Generoso Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Leonel Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Gonzalez. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Criston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka made a substitution. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Criston came free, but Generoso Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ireland 1921 fully deserved thier win.
