The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Matias Indar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MDQ Raptors FC the free kick. Matias Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Daniel Järvenperä who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Arturo Bernaldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Ursino in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Bernaldo saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. In the last second Arturo Bernaldo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hermengildo Ursino in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cosme Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Arturo Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Teofilo Adrio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Järvenperä in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Järvenperä in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Bernaldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Järvenperä's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Arturo Bernaldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The wind increased when Naum Novoselski made the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Matias Indar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matias Indar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 52 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Matias Indar. Afanasiy Mozolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Bernaldo having to make a save. When Naum Novoselski fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Naum Novoselski a yellow card for diving instead. Naum Novoselski kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save MDQ Raptors FC from getting a goal against them. Arturo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Adrio in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Adrio came free, but Arturo Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Teofilo Adrio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Bernaldo. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Adrio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that MDQ Raptors FC were the better team. MDQ Raptors FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
