When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Odol made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Odol in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Artemio Odol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Bastos. Scotland 1873's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Odol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 57th minute Ermegildo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Casimiro Ricart managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
