Mauro Boselli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Mauro Boselli got a free kick in the 17th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Réda Kolb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Paulin. After 33 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Séamus Babasidis. 38 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Elian Müller came free, but Ismael Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brooks Willison didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin got control of the ball when Gaspar Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elian Müller to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shuspendemo reached it. Venancio Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Uriel Ferrer made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Vellito. Shuspendemo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Réda Kolb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Paulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Séamus Babasidis in the 78th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Réda Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Séamus Babasidis. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Amadeo Raebert replaced Ubaldo Gelacio.
