The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. James Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Montt in the 3rd minute of the match. James Barnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. James Barnes came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by ToCoTaN FC's Jethro Van Landschoot. But to his dismay, Jethro Van Landschoot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teobaldo Txindoki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Barnes having to make a save. In the 13th minute Marciano Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Barnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Txindoki in the 15th minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper James Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Cervera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Veronica made a huge save. When Candido Ospin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Los Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Ospin couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Santo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Santo got free with Edelmiro Veronica in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Los Piratas FC's Edelmiro Veronica threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Candido Ospin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ospin in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Candido Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Veronica. ToCoTaN FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Txindoki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Santo came free, but Edelmiro Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ospin in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th minute Candido Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. James Barnes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Oscar Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Oscar Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Candido Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. James Barnes was a little too slow when Marciano Tonio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. After 86 played minutes ToCoTaN FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Peron. In the 87th minute of the match Herald Roockeloes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Veronica skillfully saved the ball. After 87 minutes, Jethro Van Landschoot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ToCoTaN FC and the Los Piratas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Jethro Van Landschoot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cervera in the 88th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Los Piratas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ToCoTaN FC's performance. The match ended with a win for ToCoTaN FC.
