Bayan Gugovski made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Alfonso Gilabert sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Ediberto Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Misael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Gilabert. Benjamim Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Misael having to interfere. Guns And Roses made a substitution. Jesús Salvador replaced Alfonso Gilabert.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesús Salvador to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Edelmiro Quintyn hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Jesús Salvador shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jesús Salvador's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Gugovski was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesús Salvador in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Gugovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merengue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Bordat was slow to take the kick. During this time Guns And Roses's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Bordat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bayan Gugovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jesús Salvador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 minutes of play, Guns And Roses's Jesús Salvador made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bayan Gugovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Salvador in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Jesús Salvador shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Salvador in the 76th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Guns And Roses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Santana to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's Jesús Salvador sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Gugovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquiles Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eustacio Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Salvador in the 88th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Salvador came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Guns And Roses support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
