Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Birila in the 4th minute. Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejo Froila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 9th minute Hipolito Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AKD's Alejo Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Johans in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, AKD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Estevon to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, AKD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Estebano to maneuver through the defense. Papillon AC's Hipolito Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Gustavo Birila elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Hipolito Johans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Johans in the 27th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Alejo Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Gustavo Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Froila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hipolito Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Leonides Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 46th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Alejo Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Papillon AC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Gustavo Birila got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alejo Froila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. AKD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Hipolito Johans scored to the left of an out of position Alejo Froila, making the score, 0-4. In the 57th minute, Gustavo Birila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Froila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 61st minute, Florin Lopatnicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, AKD's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Birila came free, but Alejo Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Leonides Modestio made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Froila. AKD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Papillon AC defense, Lucio Kepa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Azeari. The Papillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Azeari should have stopped the shot. Papillon AC's Fernando Domeka was substituted for Fabian Caitano. Alejo Froila made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Leonides Modestio sent off a good shot on target. AKD's Tejs Richards quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bai Bang Xiong, made in the 77th minute of the game. Alejo Froila was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Hipolito Johans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hipolito Johans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. 87 minutes into the match, Emiliano Nardo notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of AKD's Alejo Froila. Alejo Froila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Birila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejo Froila. That made the score 1-11 in the 91 minute of play. Alejo Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Johans in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Papillon AC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AKD.
