After a rather tough play, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Elpidio Xabat got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Atilano Medero came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Medero couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalkeeper Ildefonso Bartolome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Domeka. A hard shot 71 in the game by Pastor Domeka from a close distance when the talented Ildefonso Bartolome managed to make a qualified save. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's players were relieved. Boca Juniors's Alfonso Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Truylos in the 74th minute of play. Ildefonso Bartolome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Domeka in the 76th minute of play. Atilano Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pastor Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Hermengildo Inautzi got a free kick in the 85th minute. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Ildefonso Bartolome proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Arnalt during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boca Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Boca Juniors.
