Laureano Belasko was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Desiderio Naelio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desiderio Naelio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Naelio in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Belasko saved Racing Comunicaciones from getting behind. After 31 minutes of play, CAI NEUQUEN's Desiderio Naelio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Erasmo Gonchan in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Racing Comunicaciones's Ingvar Linqvist. Laureano Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jürgen Jääger kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. CAI NEUQUEN's Desiderio Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Blanco in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Desiderio Naelio made a precise shot to the right of Laureano Belasko. Racing Comunicaciones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Desiderio Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Belasko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Lidon came free, but Ermegildo Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Naelio went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. CAI NEUQUEN made a substitution. Dionisio Felo replaced Joel Santana. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Lidon in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Naelio in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Belasko saved Racing Comunicaciones from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Racing Comunicaciones:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CAI NEUQUEN:s goal. Racing Comunicaciones:s Laureano Belasko showed great skill when he stopped Jürgen Jääger:s penalty. Laureano Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Naelio in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Desiderio Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAI NEUQUEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Jürgen Jääger hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CAI NEUQUEN had won after a very even match.
