Esteban Chabier made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal. Showtime FC's David Jacindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Showtime FC from getting a goal against them. Anibal Beturian hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Consejo del Mate's Hernan Quinton was substituted for Victor Maureo. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Aragones in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Peyo Fonelleda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consejo del Mate's supporters rose to their feet, but Peyo Fonelleda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 66th minute of play. If Peyo Fonelleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Peyo Fonelleda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Jacindo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Crescencio in the 94th minute of play. Teo Eleazar charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Eleazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teo Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Consejo del Mate fully deserved thier win.
