The audience was convinced that Paulo Pierres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iraido Bertiz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Sanchez came free, but Iraido Bertiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Pierres made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Iraido Bertiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
