Diego Eterno's Shen Xun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hu Chao Hai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓昆烽 in the 18th minute of play. The Romeo Toli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 邓昆烽 to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Toli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Diego Eterno players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
