Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Uzuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincenty Bucyki got free with Lázaro Colon in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lázaro Colon made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wincenty Bucyki sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Theodore kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Uriel Isias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Uzuri having to make a save. Norberto Theodore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Theodore in the 31st minute of play. Lázaro Colon was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Arsenio Erico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Erico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Enzo Uzuri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Isias went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes Sportivo Constitución's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Porfirio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Juniors FC's Nicanor Porfirio to fire away a dangerous shot which Enzo Uzuri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Garaona to maneuver through the defense.

In the 53rd minute Norberto Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
