After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Andes's zone, 김 명 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nana Lider came out of the goal and 김 명 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hudson Galvão hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 10th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Álvaro Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Salvator was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider got control of the ball when Polo Quinteros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Enceanu came free, but Nana Lider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nana Lider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polo Quinteros in the 21st minute. Bartolo Salvator stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polo Quinteros got free with Nana Lider in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bartolo Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Peron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Polo Quinteros. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Jesus Nerio got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Salvator saved San Fernando Eagles from getting behind. After 52 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Peron. Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolo Salvator, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bartolo Salvator made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jesus Nerio sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Peron kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Jesus Nerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Salvator showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Benet's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Los Andes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Benet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, San Fernando Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Benet to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Salvator made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 59th minute. Bartolo Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Cem Albay, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Nunes in the 79th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Salvator was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 3-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Polo Quinteros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Gerardo Gaxan replaced Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul. After 94 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gerardo Gaxan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartolo Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Many of Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Atletico Los Andes may have spent more time on the ball, but San Fernando Eagles were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
