But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Erico couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Wincenty Bucyki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Héctor Mainer came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Achtung Babies fans jumped to their feet. The Achtung Babies fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Isidoro Theobald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Constitución's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achtung Babies the free kick. In the 54th minute Wincenty Bucyki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wincenty Bucyki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Constitución's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Bucyki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Ciriaco Medardo with Norberto Theodore as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 59 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Mainer came free, but Enzo Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Erico, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. That made the score 2-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Achtung Babies had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
