An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Erroman in the 46th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Isaias Erroman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Portalupi to make the kick off. Omar Lauren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Urtzi's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Urtzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Lauren was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Isaias Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pan FC made a substitution. Antonio Sabina replaced Ambrosio Opilano. Natalio Martino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Primitivo Laurendi in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Balvanera's Prudencio Uhin. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pan FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Balvanera had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
