Zeledon Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Cresenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Gustau in the 17th minute of play. If Taco Huizinga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Claude got free with Zeledon Quintin in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Goyeneta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Gustau in the 23rd minute of play. Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Marz in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Donato Gustau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Goyeneta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Cresenciano in the 35th minute of play forced Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Cristobal Pepillo hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Zeledon Quintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Claude went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Taco Huizinga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Quintin having to make a save. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Ramon Dacio replaced Leon Eguzki. Enzo Julian hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gaviotas FC's Charro Moreno was substituted for Clemente Claude. Evaristo Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Goyeneta having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charro Moreno in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Quintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Chesus to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Donato Gustau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Goyeneta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Gustau. Zeledon Quintin came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaviotas FC's Charro Moreno. But to his dismay, Charro Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
