The Legacy Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Fe should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Claude came free, but Ovidio Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Julian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ovidio Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Sebastian Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Taco Huizinga put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidio Fe. Ovidio Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Cirilo Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Francesco. After a defensive mix-up in Legacy Youth Academy's zone, Clemente Claude stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Fe came out of the goal and Clemente Claude tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Clemente Claude made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Fe. Legacy Youth Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Enzo Julian might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Julian ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Taco Huizinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Gaviotas FC's Clemente Claude made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Sebastian Cresenciano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 60th minute, Sebastian Cresenciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaviotas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Cresenciano in the 66th minute of play forced Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ovidio Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Clemente Claude took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Ovidio Fe to make any attempt to save it. Gaviotas FC's Isaac Chesus was substituted for Enzo Julian. Gaviotas FC's Charro Moreno was substituted for Clemente Claude. If Taco Huizinga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Charro Moreno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Fe, 0-10. Sebastian Cresenciano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
