But to his dismay, Jorge Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Chaime in the 10th minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Sportivo Ben Hur were awarded a corner. Primitivo Chaime went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Hagi in the 14th minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Septinius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Insúa in the 18th minute of play. Federico Insúa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montrell Harrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Uwe Septinius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Chaime in the 28th minute of play. Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Ben Hur from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Primitivo Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montrell Harrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Federico Insúa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrell Harrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sportivo Ben Hur booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Sportivo Ben Hur were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Federico Insúa made the kick off in the second half. Montrell Harrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Aureo in the 56th minute of play. Montrell Harrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Aureo in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Insúa came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Federico Insúa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montrell Harrell was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Sportivo Ben Hur's Emanuel Hielscher was substituted for Délio Toledo. Daniel Constancio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Abel Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Chaime in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Montrell Harrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villegas Ferragudo to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Abel Aureo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Liquisue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sportivo Ben Hur were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
