Depor Alex Return's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Eguntsenti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 100th minute Marcelo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that River de Ramos Mejía were the better team. River de Ramos Mejía's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
