Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonides Chago got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Severo Rivero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Serafo. RACINGUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Rivero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute Severo Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Clemente Serafo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Clemente Serafo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Luciano Mon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Chago came free, but Danilo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amador Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the RACINGUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Raymond couldn't finish the play. Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Chago in the 31st minute of play. Danilo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Clemente Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Mon in the 38th minute of play. When Rigoberto Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Margarita's protests and gave Rigoberto Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. Rigoberto Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luciano Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Clemente Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes RACINGUS got a freekick which was hit by German Emesto. Clemente Serafo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Bernal went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Bernal to make the kick off. Leonides Chago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Danilo Aires when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Chago got free with Danilo Aires in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, RACINGUS's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Bernal came free, but Clemente Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Justino Aballe got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Anier Paio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Margarita's Claudiu Cristescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of RACINGUS booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Wallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Antonio Quinton led 84 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Margarita's Danilo Aires became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Leonides Chago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Aires came out of the goal and Leonides Chago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leonides Chago came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the RACINGUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Chago couldn't finish the play. Clemente Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Bernal in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Chago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Danilo Aires. That made the score 2-4 in the 95 minute of play. The Margarita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RACINGUS's performance. The match ended with a win for RACINGUS.
