Damián Martínez had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Serafin Hori from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Tottenham Hotspurs's Ferenc Puskás. But to his dismay, Ferenc Puskás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Damián Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Edgardo Calvino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 64th minute of the game Bartolo Cresconio made a throw-in which Gaspar Sabin played forward. After 77 minutes Leones FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valério Santana who took care of the corner kick. Tottenham Hotspurs's Valério Santana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leopoldo Lastur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the match, Ferenc Puskás notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Tottenham Hotspurs's Ferenc Puskás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
