GENERAL LAVALLE's Candido Lavalle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emiliano Salvino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Lavalle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dep Colonia Avellaneda reached it. In the 20th minute Candido Lavalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Siro Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Lavalle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Darryl Buckner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Lavalle was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 41 minutes, Darryl Buckner made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonin Leroyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darryl Buckner was the one to do the kick off. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Lavalle in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Efrain Cambiasso notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Lavalle came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Darryl Buckner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramon Lavalle. Darryl Buckner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Lavalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Haroldo Lavalle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Darryl Buckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ramon Lavalle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Lavalle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. In the last second Ramon Lavalle throw himself and got hold of the ball when Darryl Buckner in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Darryl Buckner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Lavalle was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Lavalle saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. After 75 minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Rosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner Leopoldo Rosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramon Lavalle quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaak Lavalle to maneuver through the defense. In the 81stth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Lavalle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. A hard shot 85 in the game by Siro Froylan from a close distance when the talented Ramon Lavalle managed to make a qualified save. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's players were relieved. Tomas Lavalle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Lavalle in the 95th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Candido Lavalle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Lavalle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
