Marcial Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Florentino Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute David Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half AL TOKE FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Gau was the one to do the kick off. Ture Dybro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Goito firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 65th minute, David Gaizkine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Goito. The goal made the score 0-9. The supporters of AL TOKE FC booed when Ernestina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Ernestina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Sazon to maneuver through the defense. Ture Dybro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ernestina FC defense, David Gaizkine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Goito. The Ernestina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Goito should have stopped the shot. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ernestina FC! The goalkeeper, Marcial Goito, was totally fooled by AL TOKE FC's David Gaizkine, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernestina FC's Marcial Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ernestina FC from getting a goal against them. AL TOKE FC's Bonifacio Shepherd was substituted for Emanuel Orain. AL TOKE FC's Evelio Blasi was substituted for David Gaizkine. The Ernestina FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AL TOKE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
