In the 13th minute Acácio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Asier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Nogueira in the 26th minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Esteve Seber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Seber. Angelo Orlondon made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CERPA's Venancio Artal. In the 43rd minute, Norberto Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

CERPA's Ignacio Viviano was substituted for Esteve Seber. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauricio Macías to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Tonete came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Nogueira scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Asier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenio Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Di Ruscio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Mauricio Macías elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mauricio Macías who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ni Le Zheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. AC Batán made a substitution. Ladislao Muc replaced Acácio Nogueira. A sloppy throw-in by Angelo Orlondon in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CERPA's Ignacio Viviano. Ladislao Muc scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Asier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislao Muc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Di Ruscio in the 87th minute of the match. When Victoriano Tonete came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CERPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Tonete couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Cristoforo Di Ruscio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CERPA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Batán.
