In the 26th minute of the match Milferio got a corner. Ascacibar-Pérez's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feng Xiang Yi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Milferio's Feng Xiang Yi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Einar Holmberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30thth minute of the game Terry Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascacibar-Pérez's Einar Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Ferran to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Milferio's Terry Jamieson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Einar Holmberg. Einar Holmberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Palermo in the 72nd minute of play.
