In the 42nd match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Bautista made a kick off. Palermo AFC's attentive Severo Leheren managed to snatch the ball when Nico-Jan van der Aa made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terry Jamieson got free with Primitivo Jeraldo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Javiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 60th minute of play. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Milferio's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bautista came free, but Celso Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Bautista in the 71st minute of play. Siro Galo made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Milferio's Feng Xiang Yi. Primitivo Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Milferio's Jonatan Iraitz. But to his dismay, Jonatan Iraitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 81 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Bautista notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Milferio's Celso Javiar. Celso Javiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesus Dalmu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Feng Xiang Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Primitivo Jeraldo made a huge save. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Milferio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milferio made a substitution. Angelino Bertin replaced Nico-Jan van der Aa. Jailson da Mata hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Milferio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milferio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
