In the 21st minute Adrianinho Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tomás Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edgardo Ariando came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Correla q va en Chancleta's Tomás Gaizko. But to his dismay, Tomás Gaizko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Correla q va en Chancleta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Correla q va en Chancleta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
