Ryszard Podolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Herbert Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Ciszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Beninda in the 32nd minute of play. Herbert Oliszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Podolski's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Korneliusz Sokol kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when Cidry Rojca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Gierasik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Roland Muusik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Degas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Radowit Sedzikowski made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikolaj Golob to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Degas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Podolski in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Cidry Rojca getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dawid Mroczynski hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Roland Muusik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski got control of the ball when Mikolaj Golob tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Roland Muusik. In the 71st minute, Marian Beninda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korneliusz Sokol kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Cidry Rojca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KS LEW Chorzów:s goal. Radowit Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 96th minute of play. Cidry Rojca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
