In the 28th minute of the match, Gökçek Kolçak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jerzy Debkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marian Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Biörkquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gökçek Kolçak made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Biörkquist got free with Marian Chilavert in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KS Gamrat Jasło's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Przybylo in the 55th minute. Jânio Ramos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Marian Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Biörkquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
