Florian Loncki started the match with the kick off. Miroslaw Setara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Kaznocha in the 4th minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Adam Kaznocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Setara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Adam Kaznocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Loncki in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Zagrodny saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. If Ryszard Pilipiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Pilipiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Miroslaw Setara made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Adam Kaznocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslaw Setara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Miroslaw Setara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 31st minute. When Roland Ranowiecki fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Stawiszyn's protests and gave Roland Ranowiecki a yellow card for diving instead. Zdzislaw Zagrodny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Major in the 32nd minute of play. Zdzislaw Zagrodny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Loncki's shot from short distance in the 40th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Pilipiec to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Loncki got free with Zdzislaw Zagrodny in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Srebrny Grom DK's Piotr Major slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zdzislaw Zagrodny. That made the score 3-1 after 89 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Setara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Zdzislaw Zagrodny managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Srebrny Grom DK's Florian Loncki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dariusz Pyrzyce hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kazimierz Dylla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Dylla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Setara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pogoń Stawiszyn had won after a very even match.
