The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grzegorz Juzda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gondela went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ave Silesia were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Red Army's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaroslaw Liermann took the corner. The corner led to Ave Silesia's Jaroslaw Liermann getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Remigiusz Paprotny got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Ochabski in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Gondela came free, but Grzegorz Juzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukasz Gondela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Juzda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Ave Silesia got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Okopny. 22 minutes into the game, Lukasz Gondela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Grzegorz Juzda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Lukasz Gondela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Juzda was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Wieslaw Piechna's late challenge caught a Ave Silesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Piechna helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Red Army got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Piechna. Karol Modliszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Mariusz Rekawiczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lukasz Gondela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aloísio dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ave Silesia booed when Red Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Paprotny didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Stefan Szotek hit a great ball. When Ave Silesia's Lukasz Gondela in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Army's goalie prevented a goal. Grzegorz Juzda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio dos Santos in the 45th minute of the match. The Red Army players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ave Silesia were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukasz Gondela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedykt Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Dylla in the 54th minute of play. Red Army's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Lukasz Gondela scored to the left of an out of position Grzegorz Juzda, making the score, 0-4. Grzegorz Juzda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Gondela's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Aloísio dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 63 in the game by Lukasz Gondela from a close distance when the talented Grzegorz Juzda managed to make a qualified save. Red Army's players were relieved. In the 64th minute, Lukasz Gondela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Okopny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute Ave Silesia were awarded a corner. Jaroslaw Liermann went to the cornerflag to take it. Grzegorz Juzda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gondela went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 76thth minute of the game Aloísio dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Army's Grzegorz Juzda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zygmunt Tyskie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Grzegorz Juzda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lukasz Gondela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Red Army got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Szotek. Jaroslaw Liermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Grzegorz Juzda made a huge save. Red Army's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lukasz Gondela 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Zygmunt Tyskie in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grzegorz Juzda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benedykt Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Ochabski in the 92nd minute of the match. Ave Silesia played a much better game than Red Army and deserved their victory. The Red Army players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
