In a very dangerous position, a player in KM Efektowni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! With a little luck, KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Kaczanek got control of the ball when Pawel Kornecki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcin Andrychowski struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KM Efektowni. Marcin Andrychowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Wadham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The corner led to KS Piast Cieszyn's Óli Turek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edmund Lato's late challenge caught a KS Piast Cieszyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Lato helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KS Piast Cieszyn booed when KM Efektowni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Lato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Wadham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Cizeski during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, KM Efektowni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Cizeski to maneuver through the defense. Artur Budrewicz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Andrychowski came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Piast Cieszyn were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after KM Efektowni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pacho Maldini took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Andrychowski got free with Boguslaw Kaczanek in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to KS Piast Cieszyn getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Grzegorz Witwicki hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pawel Kornecki took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Boguslaw Kaczanek to make any attempt to save it. Bartlomiej Adamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Steven Wadham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KM Efektowni's Steven Wadham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Adamus in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Boguslaw Furgat made the kick off in the second half. Boguslaw Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Andrychowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Steven Wadham made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bartlomiej Adamus sent off a good shot on target. Marcin Andrychowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Kaczanek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Steven Wadham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Adamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Adamus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Steven Wadham made a huge save. Boguslaw Kaczanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Kornecki in the 72nd minute of the match. Edmund Lato made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lucjan Popowicz however managed to control. KM Efektowni's Lucjan Popowicz pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 77 minutes into the game, Piotr Lato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Piast Cieszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KM Efektowni the free kick. KM Efektowni made a substitution. Gilbert Andrychowski replaced Lucjan Popowicz. In the 77th minute, Piotr Lato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KM Efektowni's Edmund Lato quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Piotr Lato, made in the 79th minute of the game. Steven Wadham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Gierasik in the 92nd minute of play forced KM Efektowni's goalkeeper Steven Wadham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Wadham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Marcin Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
