In the 8th minute, Frederik Israel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Absalon Aabaand elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Absalon Aabaand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paw Nibelvang. FC Gamla Stan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Absalon Aabaand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 17th minute Ivan Nielsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Nibelvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Absalon Aabaand in the 25th minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Héctor Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Gamla Stan's Paw Nibelvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frede Raundorf in the 28th minute of play. Paw Nibelvang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Absalon Aabaand in the 29th minute of play. Paw Nibelvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Absalon Aabaand, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. FC Gamla Stan's Paw Nibelvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Franks in the 32nd minute of play. Paw Nibelvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frede Raundorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Paw Nibelvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Nielsen in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Franks in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paw Nibelvang saved FC Gamla Stan from getting behind. Paw Nibelvang came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Skovbølling's Frede Raundorf. But to his dismay, Frede Raundorf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Nielsen in the 46th minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Héctor Quintero fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gamla Stan's protests and gave Héctor Quintero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Héctor Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Gamla Stan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skovbølling were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Absalon Aabaand to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Absalon Aabaand. Frede Raundorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paw Nibelvang having to interfere. Bertel Foltmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Niby in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frede Raundorf in the 89th minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Gamla Stan's Paw Nibelvang got control of the ball when Frede Raundorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Gamla Stan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skovbølling were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
