Strib Galacticos IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Berbiz in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Carlos Berbiz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman did a great save. Felix Fanøe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Søren Malman came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Fanøe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Victory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Lauritsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Wes Benbow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kurd Thiemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Janich Sodborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurd Thiemer in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Kurd Thiemer made a precise shot to the right of Janich Sodborg. Strib Galacticos IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman got control of the ball when Felix Fanøe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Kurd Thiemer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mads Aarum in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Søren Malman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes Victory F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Berbiz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felix Fanøe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman did a great save. When Felix Fanøe came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Strib Galacticos IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Fanøe couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mads Aarum made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Eliasen to maneuver through the defense. Claus Skoubo replaced Kurd Thiemer. 74 minutes into the game, Felix Fanøe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Søren Malman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Mads Aarum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Malman was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Søren Malman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Søren Malman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Fanøe in the 94th minute of the match.
