Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) After 5 played minutes, FC Drik's Denis Schubring shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benne Verdonk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Drik reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Mello in the 11th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benne Verdonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Barskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Hemming Glykær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Verdonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hemming Glykær hit a great ball. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Mello in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Mello in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Kobbeltvedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ted Kobbeltvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Willy Reitoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes, BK Skjold's Cesinha Vargas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chad Smith in the 32nd minute of play. Benne Verdonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Barskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. FC Drik's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Willy Reitoft in the 35th minute. Willy Reitoft made a great header on FC Drik's corner, it was just that BK Skjold's Benne Verdonk managed to reach the ball for a save. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Mello in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Smith came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Chad Smith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chad Smith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half BK Skjold were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Barskov made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Botelho. After 53 minutes FC Drik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesinha Vargas who took care of the corner kick. Eurico Mello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Ted Kobbeltvedt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Ernst Barskov got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Chad Smith sent off a good shot on target. When Cláudio Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the BK Skjold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Botelho couldn't finish the play. Eurico Mello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ted Kobbeltvedt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Drik's zone, Cesinha Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Kobbeltvedt came out of the goal and Cesinha Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes FC Drik got a freekick which was hit by Devlet İşcan. BK Skjold's Benne Verdonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunvald Mitens in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gunvald Mitens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Drik's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunvald Mitens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benne Verdonk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesinha Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to make a save.
