After a defensive mix-up in Harsh Gods's zone, Timmy Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Merexildo came out of the goal and Timmy Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Numan Afak in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Lain in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Malvin saved Empire of Soccer from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Empire of Soccer's Intriago Migolla got a free kick in the 11th minute. Abdurrahim Dengizer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Malvin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ladislao Harriet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Maximino Merexildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
