The audience was convinced that Ramiro Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurilio Duque was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Ramiro Messias made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurilio Duque was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Tiso Villela made the kick off in the second half. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Abeijon in the 51st minute of play. Gartxot Abeita, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevon Abancens couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevon Abancens in the 93rd minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Amauri Campidelis got a free kick in the 94th minute.
