When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Enrique Cassaretto sped through OROTINENSE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Liu Yong Yong. In the 19th minute David Talamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Walczak in the 25th minute of play. Liu Yong Yong was a little too slow when Enrique Cassaretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. A hard shot 30 in the game by Enrique Cassaretto from a close distance when the talented Liu Yong Yong managed to make a qualified save. OROTINENSE's players were relieved. With his leg Liu Yong Yong managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liu Yong Yong. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. With his leg Liu Yong Yong managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Roman in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tulio Andinyach in the 44th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Iacob Roman hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Songurhan Mete made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the OROTINENSE defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liu Yong Yong. The OROTINENSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liu Yong Yong should have stopped the shot. CD Municipal made a substitution. Ryota Miyagi replaced Enrique Cassaretto. CD Municipal's Evtim Kúrdzhev was substituted for Tulio Andinyach. Oalo Dean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Yong Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryota Miyagi in the 64th minute of play. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oalo Dean in the 67th minute of the match. Oalo Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Oalo Dean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Yong Yong was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Oalo Dean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Oalo Dean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. OROTINENSE's Zhu Bin Le was substituted for Leonel Cisneros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Dean in the 76th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oalo Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match CD Municipal got a corner. OROTINENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martino Armona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CD Municipal's Martino Armona to fire away a dangerous shot which Liu Yong Yong despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ryota Miyagi put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Liu Yong Yong. The audience was convinced that Ryota Miyagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Yong Yong was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after OROTINENSE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martino Armona took the corner. The corner led CD Municipal's Iacob Roman to a score. 7-0 in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liu Yong Yong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
