The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Manole Cristoiu made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Marcial Ziguenza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 67 minutes play.
