Boomer Fc's Xinto Torres managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miroslaw Piglowski in the 24 minute of the game. Poul Stanković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Xinto Torres hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gumersindo Moreira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Davor Šuker. Poul Stanković might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Perpiñán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poul Stanković in the 71st minute of play. Boomer Fc were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Sporting Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xinto Torres took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Xinto Torres got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Álvaro Perpiñán quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Burgas from getting a goal against them. Boomer Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xinto Torres in the 95th minute. The Sporting Burgas manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boomer Fc to win.
