Carmelo De Pablo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Piorno Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakes Vila in the 12th minute of play. Carmelo De Pablo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lekumberri Labarra in the 16th minute of the match. Carmelo De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lekumberri Labarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakes Vila got free with Piorno Zamora in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Fito made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lekumberri Labarra however managed to control. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jakes Vila made the kick off in the second half. Piorno Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Lara in the 51st minute of the match. Carmelo De Pablo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pampas Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pampas Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
