The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Picanya FC from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Bermejo came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Villaquiran in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Rolando Amorebieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gaskon Gimeno came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Villaquiran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Ermegildo Edorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Bermejo. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Banaszak. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Naldo Roig threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacek Krzynowek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Arkadiusz Banaszak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Baltazar Zaplana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Kissel. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wawrzyniec Kissel hit a great ball. Rolando Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Naldo Roig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gregory Bermejo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaskon Gimeno got free with Jacinto Cuadrado in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitzeder Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gaskon Gimeno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacinto Cuadrado, passed just outside the right post. In the 76th minute, Desiderio Elias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Rolando Amorebieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picanya FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Amorebieta in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Roig saved Picanya FC from getting behind. Rolando Amorebieta hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes Picanya FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silverio Gipuzkoa who took care of the corner kick. In the 89th minute Rainerio Obis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitzeder Manrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Hitzeder Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
