Naldo Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Velazquez's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Aquilino Velazquez struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Naldo Roig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Polonia. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 minutes Picanya FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Diaz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Virgilio Ramis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Club Deportivo Polonia booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Villaquiran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Diaz. In the 31st minute, Álvaro Carmona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Polonia's Xerardo Gasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Polonia from getting a goal against them. Naldo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Velazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Aquilino Velazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Polonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Velazquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henric Villaquiran made a kick off. Aquilino Velazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. Club Deportivo Polonia's Xerardo Gasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 58th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Henric Villaquiran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Polonia's Xerardo Gasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Club Deportivo Polonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belarmino Viejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Hibai Maroto. 72 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Polonia's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Kissel came free, but Xerardo Gasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Velazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. In the 76th minute Aquilino Velazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Aquilino Velazquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Roig was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Velazquez got free with Naldo Roig in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
