After a defensive mix-up in The Dalwhinnie Boys's zone, Birjaio Basozabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harm Rooy came out of the goal and Birjaio Basozabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Hulsebos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Ping Nan in the 23rd minute of play. Harm Rooy made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a good shot on target. If Roy de Boer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harm Rooy made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when 董泉榕 sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes, Erben Weggemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Dalwhinnie Boys and the FC Real Leonana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Casper Hulsebos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ger Mols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes into the match, FC Real Leonana's goal looked a bit too open when Ger Mols came free, but Casper Hulsebos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that 董泉榕's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harm Rooy was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Harm Rooy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Gentil, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. FC Real Leonana's Birjaio Basozabal got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, FC Real Leonana's Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harm Rooy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Hulsebos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Ping Nan in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roy de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harm Rooy was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
