Haroldo Weather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Zalm in the 15th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Elbert Haar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elbert Haar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Mathijs Grommers sent off a good shot on target. Elbert Haar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Zalm in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pannekoeken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sander Schaars was slow to take the kick. During this time Winthont FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Winthont FC's Pascal Zegeling getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Pascal Zalm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elbert Haar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 29 minutes, Abilio Pages mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the Pannekoeken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abilio Pages kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Coos van Ankeren came free, but Dennis Beerthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennis Beerthuis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ham Kaas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Haroldo Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abilio Pages didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Weather made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elbert Haar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elbert Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Zalm, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Pascal Zalm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Zalm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pannekoeken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sander Schaars was slow to take the kick. During this time Winthont FC's players had a chance to rest. Winthont FC's Sander Schaars was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elbert Haar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elbert Haar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascal Zalm's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Elbert Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Zalm in the 65th minute of the match. Elbert Haar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathijs Grommers in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Haroldo Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 73rd minute of play. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coos van Ankeren in the 76th minute of play. Coos van Ankeren didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 77th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Coos van Ankeren ran dejectedly back to his position. Pannekoeken's Pascal Bults was substituted for Haroldo Weather. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Pascal Zegeling got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Hermengildo Nesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes Pannekoeken's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sander Schaars who took care of the corner kick. Hermengildo Nesor took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elbert Haar. Elbert Haar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 96th minute Pascal Zegeling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Haar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winthont FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pannekoeken for a fine match.
