Dolf Schoonderwoerd might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tudor Mihoc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 3rd minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Mihoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Yorrick Hekman came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Iustin Hațegan got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tudor Mihoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, one of Buitenhout FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buitenhout FC. Buitenhout FC:s Tudor Mihoc showed great skill when he stopped Piearres Olalla:s penalty. In the 13th minute of the match André Luiz Linares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tudor Mihoc skillfully saved the ball. When The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tudor Mihoc. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. Iustin Hațegan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjaak Degens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolf Schoonderwoerd hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Underdogs eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
